Account Password Reset Email Not Received
This article provides troubleshooting steps if you do not receive the account password reset email after using the Crazy Domains Lost Password feature.
Symptom or issue
After submitting a request through the Lost Password page, you do not receive the password reset email.
NOTE. For security purposes, the system does not indicate whether the information you entered matches an existing account. This helps protect account information from unauthorized access or discovery..
Possible causes
This issue may occur for one of the following reasons:
- The email address, domain name, or username you entered is incorrect or contains a typographical error.
- The email address you entered is associated with multiple accounts in our system, preventing the Lost Password feature from identifying a single account.
- The password reset email was delivered to your Junk or Spam folder.
Resolution
Complete the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Verify that the email address, domain name, or username you entered is correct and does not contain any spelling mistakes.
- If you used your email address and did not receive the password reset email, try the request again using your username or domain name instead. This can help if your email address is associated with multiple accounts.
- Check your Junk, Spam, or other filtered email folders for the password reset message.
- If you still do not receive the email after completing the previous steps, contact Support for further assistance with verifying your account and resetting your password.
