Getting Started With Linux Hosting

NOTE. This guide is only applicable for Linux Web Hosting and Business Hosting.

You've just bought your Linux Web Hosting. Now what? Start building your website now using our Linux-based Web Hosting service. You can create your customised email addresses too. Read on to get started.

Your Linux Hosting control panel

The cPanel. This is the main interface you will use to easily create and manage your website files, domains, emails, SQL databases and a variety of other web-based services.

NOTE. You can only see the cPanel features that are available in your current hosting plan. 

 

Access your cPanel

Begin by accessing your cPanel account. 

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. On the Dashboard>My Products, locate your Linux Hosting product. 
     

    NOTE. Your products are grouped by domain name. Make sure to go to the specific domain where your Linux Hosting product is connected. 

  3. On the right side of your Linux Hosting product, click MANAGE.
  4. On the next page, click the LOGIN TO CPANEL button. 

Create a website

You can upload your website files to your cPanel File Manager if you already have them. If you don't have existing website content yet, you can make use of the Installatron Applications Installer to install a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress

Create a cPanel email account

Your Linux Hosting plan comes with an email service. With cPanel email, you can create email addresses using your own domain name.

Point your domain to your cPanel website and email

For your cPanel website and email to work, you need to configure your domain name's DNS settings to point to Crazy Domains cPanel server. Read the following guides to learn more:
